The Warning, Lecturer’s report, February 2020

Since Lent will begin soon I thought we should talk about the state of the world and the state of our souls. Michael McCray gave me a book called The Warning, Testimonies and Prophecies of the Illumination of Conscience. The book talks about things I had never heard of so I thought maybe you had not heard of them either. Many modern saints and mystics have received revelations that God is very displeased with the state of the world and the souls of almost everyone, and unless something is done, many souls will be lost. The revelations say that God will make every human being stop and review their lives and see the state of their souls. It sounds amazing or impossible but we know that all things are possible with God. Here are some of the saints, living and dead, who received these revelations.

St. Faustina said or the coming illumination, “…all light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the Cross will be seen in the sky, and from the holes where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth a brilliant light, which will illuminate the Earth for a period of time.”

When this happens every human being will go through a “mini-judgement.” As though frozen in time, even those in a jet or on a freeway will stop and the Lord will show them their souls. God, speaking through well-known author Mathew Kelly said, “It will be very painful, but short. You will see your sins; you will see how much you offend Me, every day… Judgment is the best word you humans have to describe it, but it will be more like this: you will see your own personal darkness contrasted against the pure light of My love (and mercy).”

For those in a state of grace the warning will be mild by comparison, but still frightening. Even venial sins are abhorrent to Jesus. St. Joseph said to Janie Garza, a mystic, “For those souls who believe they live in the light but continue to break every Commandment given by God, to these souls, I St. Joseph, say that these souls will not be able to see the state of their souls and live.”

So what do we do with this information? I do not know if this is true, but I know that God does not consult me about such things. Again through Mathew Kelly, God the Father says, “…be like the blind man. Each day you should cry, ‘Lord, open my eyes,’ and My Son will open your eyes so that you can see your wretchedness and repent Above all do not fear (for I am merciful).”

Our Lady said to Fr. Stefano Gobbi, “What will come to pass is something so very great that it will exceed anything that has taken place since the beginning of the world. It will be like a judgement in miniature, and each one will see his own life and all he has done, in the very light of God.” In conclusion, consider this warning in prayer, do a daily examine, and live your life in Christ as best you can. Vivat Jesus!
