The Divine Mercy Novena

Knights, I ask you and recommend to you to pray the Divine Mercy Novena which is to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet each of the days from Good Friday to Saturday after Easter. Quoting from the Divine Mercy booklet, “The chaplet can be said anytime, but the Lord specifically asked that it be recited as a novena, especially on the nine days before the Feast of Mercy. And he promised, ‘By this Novena I will grant every possible grace to souls.’” The Feast of Mercy is always the first Sunday after Easter, which is this next Sunday, April 15th. If you have not done so it is OK to start now, tonight or tomorrow. Many graces flow from this prayer that the Lord gave to us through St. Faustina, especially if prayed in the presence of our Lord in the Eucharist!

I also want to recommend attending the Divine Mercy Benediction here at Holy Spirit. Confessions will be heard from 2:00 to 3:00. Holy Hour and Benediction begins at 3:00. If you seek more graces in your life this is for you.

Quoting the booklet again, “Through the chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will.”

Please consider participating in this wonder prayer.

And now let us pray the Blessed Michael McGivney prayer.
