FELIX R. BAZ-DRESCH, CLU, CHFC Quiet affection describes Felix, with heart for his Faith Community, family, friends, business associates and clients. In return they surrounded him during his illness. On November 20, 2017, at age 79, ALS took the body but not his spirit. Felix grew up in Glendale, MO, attended SLU High School and SLU. He moved to KC in 1969, but maintained his allegiance to Cardinals Baseball and excelled in baseball trivia. His love for music began at age three, attending The Muny with his parents. Felix was an accomplished 5-string banjo player, sharing his talent with others, creating lasting friendships at the Walnut Valley Festival. Felix's most precious gift was being with family, especially Hilton Head vacations. Missing him most are his wife of 51 years, Mary Ann (Schaeffer), daughters Michelle (Damon) Lewis, Angela (Michael) Fiordelisi, Swiss daughter Claudia (Hansruedi) Schumacher; grandchildren Mason, Morgan and Drake Lewis, Peyton, Mia and Dominic Fiordelisi, Virginia and Sophie Schumacher; brothers John (Cheri) and Mike (Karen); cherished extended family. He was proceeded in death by parents, Rafael and Edith Baz-Dresch. He donated his body for ALS research. Visitation 11 a.m. followed by Memorial Mass at 1 p.m. December 9, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Overland Park, KS. In honor of Felix, please wear your brightest clothing to celebrate his life.
